WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE CONFERENCE
On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Latino Health Forum (LHF), we would like to take this opportunity to invite you to the 28th Annual Latino Health Forum, Discrimination and Health: Addressing Disparities During the COVID-19 Crises and Beyond.
In following the orders and guidelines of the County for safety issues regarding COVID-19 we have moved our format to an on-line Zoom version format. This year we will be conducting a 7-day series on important statistics, updates, and information focused on COVID-19 targeting the Latinx community in a culturally responsive way.The Latino Health Forum 7-day series will be beginning on Monday, July 27, at 12 pm-1:15 pm. Each day will feature a new topic.
The Latino Health Forum is organized by the Santa Rosa Family Medicine Residency Program. Our Board Members represent the Residency Program, Sutter Health, Kaiser, St. Joseph’s Health, and local community health centers.
Unite with us in our mission to inform professionals and community members about pertinent issues facing Latino and underrepresented populations to improve the access and quality of health services.
Latino Health Forum
The Latino Health Forum is one of the most educational and informative Latino health care events in Northern California. We strive to inform professionals about some of the most relevant issues facing the Latino population as well as enhance the availability and quality of health services.
We are proud to continue as an academic conference. For the past 27 years we have offered BRN continuing education units to health professionals. We provide registration scholarships to high school and college level students to expose them to the many career choices available in the health and social service field.
